Ogie Alcasid celebrated his birthday in Party Pilipinas, August 28 2011. Ogie, whose birthday is August 27, 1967, turns 44. The singer song writer did a very romantic duet with wife, Regine Velasquez and their song number was full of love and emotions.
The show also showed Ogie’s advocacies through helping charitable institutions and sponsoring a Rondalla GK Farm in Angat, Bulacan.
Meanwhile, Ogie wasn’t able to hold his tears for being so happy to sing with Regine on TV once again.
“Alam mo kasi pag nakikita ko kung gano kaganda asawa ko, habang dala nya baby ko, hindi ko mapigil emotion ko because of extreme joy,” Says Ogie.
“Malapit na sya lumabas, baka maging singer or dancer..tapos biglang naging architect, no?” Says Regine.
The singer songwriter said that he is thankful that he is so blessed. When Jaya asked his birthday wish, Ogie said that his wish is just for Regine to continue being happy with him. Regine answered that she has never been this happy. She also thanked Ogie for being so patient with her while she’s going through her pregnancy.
“ Hindi tayo yayaman sa mga pinaggagawa mo, gusto kong malaman ng Pilipinas yan, pero sobra akong proud sayo, kaya naman sobrang daming blessings” Says Regine.
Ogie also shared to the audience that if people always tell him how blessed he is and Regine, he said that it is true but he wants to let everyone know that we are all not just them, are blessed. -Daily Pinoy Showbiz
