Regine Velasquez and Donna Cruz reunited onstage last Saturday, July 30, and performed 'I Can,' the theme song from their 1996 movie DoReMi. Donna and her daughter were part of the audience watching Regine in her The Regine Series: Nationwide Tour Cebu leg concert, when she was spotted by the Songbird and was asked to join her onstage.
Before singing, the two addressed each other by their 'pet names.' Regine called Donna 'Doings,' while Donna called her 'Pachuchay.' They also mentioned their DoReMi co-star and friend former actress and equestrian Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski, whom they used to call 'Minachas.' On her Instagram, Donna related how happy she was doing the impromptu performance with her longtime friend and how they miss Mikey.
