Jaya on not being included in Regine Velasquez's Silver concert

“Hindi ko naman show ‘yan, ‘no? Bakit ako aarte?”

REGINE’S CONCERT. And speaking of Regine, marami ang nagtaka

kung bakit hindi kasali si Jaya sa mga guest ng Asia's Songbird sa
Silver concert nito sa SM Mall of Asia Arena sa November 16.
Ang mga guest ni Regine ay sina Janno Gibbs, Lani Misalucha, at
asawa niyang si Ogie Alcasid.

Kung tutuusin ay magkakasama na sila noong SOP days pa. Pero bakit
nawala sa listahan ng guests si Jaya?
Paliwanag ng singer-TV host, “Hindi... ganito ‘yan, e. Sinabi ko na,
'Baka lang, in case may magtanong, ano'ng sasabihin ko?'
"And you know what? The thing is, may producer ang palabas niya.
“I mean, may manager siya, meron silang producers, meron silang
concept.

“And kung hindi po ito yung time na kasama ako sa show, okay lang.
“It has nothing to do with our friendship.
“Anu’t anuman ang mangyari, kumare ko siya, e, kaibigan ko siya.
“Desisyon nila ‘yan and I’m okay with that.
“I’m all for her show.

"Siyempre, twenty-five years, iniidolo naming lahat ‘yang si Regine, so
bakit ako aarte, di ba?” paliwanag ni Jaya.


NO HARD FEELINGS. Walang sama ng loob si Jaya kahit konti?
Sagot niya, “Kahit konti.
"You know why? Ang dami-dami pa nung magiging shows.
“Nag-a-anniversary lang naman siya, twenty-five years.
“Dapat nga, mas kung ibang producer ‘yan siguro, isang katerbang tao
rin naman ang ilalagay, di hindi na siya nakita?

“E, twenty-five years niya ‘yan, e. So I’m pretty sure they really want
to feature her.
“And that’s really what I’m hoping for—na lahat ng tao manood sa
show niya.”

Ang tanong ng marami: Bakit si Lani, samantalang sina Regine at Jaya
ang hanggang ngayon ay magkasama sa Party Pilipinas ?
Tumawa muna si Jaya saka sinabing, “Hindi ko alam ang friendship
nilang dalawa, but as far as I know, hindi naman…

“Alam natin si Regine, hindi rin ‘yan madesisyon, e.
“I feel like she’s letting the production team handle that situation.
“So whatever it is, masaya ako for them.
“I wont be such a liar to think na sana kasali ako.

“Kaya lang, hindi ko naman show ‘yan, ‘no? Bakit ako aarte?
“Show nila ‘yan and I’m just happy for them... happy for her na she’s
reached twenty-six years...

“Actually, twenty-six years naman siya sa business, e, and I think we
should leave it at that.
“Wala naman akong alam, e, alam mo yun?
"Hula-hula lang din naman ako.”
