Tina Arena (born 1 November 1967) is an Australian singer, songwriter and musical theatre actress. She has won several awards, most notably 6 ARIA Awards and in both 1996 and 2000 she received the World Music Award for the world's best selling Australian artist. She has sold approximately 8 million records worldwide to date.



"Burn" is a song written by Tina Arena, Pam Reswick and Steve Werfel for Arena's third album In Deep (1997). The song was extremely successful in her native Australia reaching #2 on the ARIA Singles Chart and it was certified gold. Arena also recorded the song in Spanish, and the Italian version "Ti Voglio Qui" and was released as a single in several countries in Europe and Australia.

In 2000, "Burn" was covered by American country music singer Jo Dee Messina and her version reached #2 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart.

Regine Velasquez Changed Sarah Geronimo's Life In That Moment ( Regine Velasquez-Sarah Geronimo moment at the 'Record Breaker' Concert)

Sarah Geronimo's another 'record breaking concert' was held last night (110709) and it was also sold out! It was Sarah's 4th major concert at the Araneta. See how time flies when this Regine's "anak-anakan" just won in a singing contest way back 2003, I remember the commercial for auditions before the said singing contest (Star for a Night)started...."Wanna be like Regine Velasquez"? then audition now for "Star for a Night" and Sarah was the winner of the said contest.

Sarah Geronimo is now more than a 'Popstar Princess', she is now mature as a star, a box office hit maker, a platinum artist and a sold out performer that our Songbird Regine is truly proud of.

Regine watched her concert 'Record Breaker' last night at the Araneta and through that concert, I also remember the Songbird's guesting at Sarah's "The Other Side" first major concert also at Araneta. And also through that, I also miss Regine performing 'solo' at the Big Dome......since R2K, Reigning Still and Twenty.

Sarah, while taking time to be with the audience, was surprised what she saw the Songbird watching her concert which happened to be the night before Sarah's concert, Regine also had a concert (Most Requested). Sarah even said "Akalain niyo yon, pinapanood po ako ni Ms. Regine Velasquez!...naman!" while singing "A Very Special Love/ You Change My Life" (Sarah Movie Theme Songs Medley). Regine sung 'You Change My Life' too at Regine Unplugged days...remember? Regine said she doesn't have flowers to give to Sarah that night so Regine stood up and gave her favorite pearl necklace.

Regine changed Sarah's life in that moment! Agree? And it was one of the most emotional part of the show.

Sources also say that the giving of the pearl necklace was like the passing of the throne to Sarah!?

Regine Should Have Also Received A 'Diamond Record' Award

R2K is the tenth studio album of Regine Velasquez released in 1999. The album consists of various covers and contains her most famous cover to date, "On The Wings of Love" and "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing".

The album reached more than 300,000 units in 2000. It was announced on 2001 that the album reached 10x Platinum.This was also her best selling album to date going 12x platinum.

A Diamond Record Award is given to an artist whose album has surpassed the 10x Platinum mark.

Eraserheads and Jose Mari Chan were the only Filipinos to have received a Diamond Record, and Nina achieved this status recently on her album ‘Nina Live!’ album sold for 200,000 copies.

Viva Records standard on giving platinum awards on album is 30K and was not even adjusted to 20K....but still, R2K reached its standards more than that and yet, VIVA Records didn't recognize it.

To all of us fans, Regine Velasquez deserves to be the first female performer to receive the 'Diamond Record' award!
