Kris Aquino admits misunderstanding with Ogie, Regine over PNoy-SAF issue

Hindi maikakaila ang matinding pagtatanggol ni Kris Aquino sa mga bumabatikos sa kanyang kapatid na si Pangulong Benigno Aquino III matapos itong hindi makadalo sa pagsalubong sa mga labi ng mga namatay na pulis sa bakbakan sa Mamasapano, Maguindanao, kamakailan. Kabilang ang ilang showbiz personality sa mga naglabas ng kanilang saloobin hinggil sa pangyayaring ito.

 Nauna nang sinabi ng singer na si Regine Velasquez sa isang panayam na, "Siguro sa akin lang, sana he [PNoy] could have been more gracious with everything that happened in the past and now. I think, mas maiintindihan siya ng mga tao if he was there." Kaugnay nito, inamin ni Kris na hindi niya napigilang hindi masaktan sa mga pambabatikos sa kanyang kapatid at hindi niya rin mapipigilan ang sariling ipagtanggol ito.

 Ayon kay Kris sa isang Instagram comment, "Tao ako na hindi mapipigilan ang sarili na ipagtanggol ang mahal ko. I have friends who privately spoke to me about how they wished the President had done things differently... We listened to each other. We may not agree but at least we listened." Personal rin umano siyang lumapit sa kabiyak ni Regine na si Ogie Alcasid upang humingi ng paumanhin kaugnay sa kanyang "misinterpretation" sa mga pahayag na kumakalat sa social media. "I apologized for misinterpreting some quotes tagged to me supposedly coming from them. I said nadala ako ng sobrang sakit," aniya.
