“HINDI KA NAG IISA” Composed by: Ogie Alcasid Sung by: Regine Velasquez
The original voice of Sergio Mendes' Brasil '66, singer Lani Hall was also the wife of trumpeter and A&M Records co-founder Herb Alpert. Upon exiting Brasil '66, she made her solo debut in 1974 with the LP Sundown Lady; a series of releases including 1975's Hello It's Me, 1977's Sweetbird and 1979's Double or Nothing followed, but after appearing on the soundtrack to the 1983 James Bond film Never Say Never Again Hall largely disappeared from the recording scene, resurfacing only to make the occasional cameo appearance on her husband's recordings. However, the rise of Latin pop during the 1990s inspired Hall to return to the studio, and in 1998 she issued Brasil Nativo. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide

Here I am Alone and I don't understand Exactly how it all began The dream just walked away I'm holding on When all but the passion's gone
And from the start Maybe I was tryin' too hard It's crazy 'cause it's breakin' my heart Things can fall apart but I know That I don't want you to go
And here was time When they ignore the cause inside But they learned from what's left behind And fight for something else And so it goes That we have both learned how to grow
And from the start Maybe we were tryin' too hard It's crazy 'cause it's breakin' our hearts Things can fall apart, but I know That I don't want you to go
Oh, it's just too much Takin' on the whole world all by myself There's not enough Unless I start trustin' somebody else Somebody else and love again
And from the start Maybe we were tryin' too hard It's crazy 'cause it's breakin' our hearts Things can fall apart, but I know That I don't want you to go, no
Maybe we were tryin' too hard It's crazy 'cause it's breakin' our hearts Things can fall apart, but I know That I don't want you to go
Oooh no, I don't want you to go Say that you won't go
Bubble Gang, the country’s longest-running gag show, is celebrating its 14th year and still going steady.
“14 Going Steady” host Paolo Bediones will get to know the Bubble Barkada – Ogie Alcasid, Michael V., Wendell Ramos, Antonio Aquitania, Rufa Mae Quinto, Francine Prieto and Maureen Larrazabal – through a sit-down interview that will unleash not only their funny side, but more interestingly, their kinky side as well.
Then on October 30, three films outfitted for television, which was created by Bubble Gang’s very own creative team and pioneering cast member Michael V., will cap off this two-part anniversary special. One is a horror film, the other is a spoof of a famous Koreanovela, and the last is a scintillating sexy comedy. The films will star the Bubble Gang cast along with celebrity guests Dennis Trillo, Iza Calzado, Julia Clarete, and Ms. Regine Velasquez.
"If All We're Gonna Do Is Dance" is probably one of the more ironic tracks on the album. In fact much of the album is almost dripping in a kind of defiant ironic, even sarcastic tone to it. With the same exquisite arrangement, although more melodic than synthesized, it's a song about a woman who's tired of dancing while waiting for her man to make his move. After being convinced that her man is finally going to "make it right," she goes to his place only to find more of the same.. To which she says "..If all we're gonna go is dance.. I'm going home.." I guess I don't have to have to point out the irony in this one. For me, it's really all in the juxtaposition between the theme and the delivery. It's not often you hear a woman sing so elegantly and beautifully yet so forwardly about her making the moves on her man. Even beyond that, it could even be a little *nudge nudge*, *wink wink* to the listener. Gotta wonder, if her man won't make a move, won't respond to hers and can't seem to stop dancing, perhaps he may not be all that into women.. Just a thought. In a way, it's all very Vanity 6 meets Karen Carpenter, if you know what I mean.. from: discodelivery.blogspot.com

LAST DANCE
"Last Dance" is a song written by the late Paul Jabara. It was sung by Donna Summer for the Thank God It's Friday soundtrack in 1978. She also had a mini role in the same film (see Thank God It's Friday), singing the song. "Last Dance" was mixed by the Grammy Award winning record producer Stephen Short, whose back-up vocals are featured in the song.
"Last Dance" won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for Best Original Song the same year. It is one of Summer's favorite songs and remains one of her most popular hits in the United States, peaking at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song has sold over 5 million copies in the U.S. alone.
"Last Dance" was one of the first disco songs to also feature slow tempo parts. It starts off slow and the full-length version found on the film soundtrack also has a slow part in the middle. This part was edited out for the 12" format, and yet more of the song was edited for the 7". The versions found on most greatest hits packages is either the original 7" edit ( - 3:21) or the slightly longer and remixed version from the 1979 compilation On The Radio: Greatest Hits Volumes 1 & 2 ( - 4:56).
"Last Dance" started a trend for Summer as many of her disco hits following this also had a slow tempo intro/vocal beginning. Her other hits of this tempo format include "On the Radio", "No More Tears (Enough is Enough)", a duet with Barbra Streisand, "Dim All the Lights", and another song written by and duetted with Paul Jabara, "Foggy Day/Never Lose Your Sense Of Humor" from his album, "The Third Album".

I WILL SURVIVE
"I Will Survive" is a song first performed by Gloria Gaynor, released in October 1978. It was written by Freddie Perren and Dino Fekaris.
The song's lyrics describe a narrator who finds personal strength while recovering from a breakup; it has often been used as an anthem of female empowerment,[1] and HIV/AIDS awareness - and is a firm favorite on the karaoke circuit. It is one of the most famous disco songs of all time and Gaynor's biggest hit. It received massive airplay in 1979, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100, also reaching number one in the UK the next day.
The song was originally released as the B-side to a song first recorded by The Righteous Brothers called "Substitute", a track thought to have more potential for mainstream success by her record label. It became a worldwide hit for Clout in 1978, instead. Disc jockeys began flipping the single over and eventually copies of the record were pressed with "I Will Survive" as the A-side ("Substitute" managed to peak at number 107 on Billboard's Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart).
The song was rated number nine on George Carlin's 10 Most Embarrassing Songs of All Time.
It received the Grammy Award for Best Disco Recording in 1980, the only year that the award was given. It is ranked #489 on the Rolling Stone magazine's list of "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time". The Song was also listed at #97 on Billboard's Greatest Songs of all time.In 2000 the song was ranked #1 in VH1's list of the 100 greatest dance songs.
After the success of fellow '70s stars Sister Sledge's remixed singles in the UK in 1993, this song was also released in a remixed form there in about June/July 1993. Also meriting success, this remix reached number five on the UK Singles Chart (while the original version had topped the chart in 1979), but was her only successful remix single in the UK.

The Spice Girls are an English pop girl group formed in 1994. They consist of Victoria Beckham (née Adams), Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Halliwell. They are the most successful girl group of all time.
The Names
* Geri Halliwell/Ginger Spice (March 1994-May 1998 and June 2007-February 2008). Geri was called Ginger Spice because of her "liveliness, zest, and flaming red hair." She often wore outrageous stage outfits. Ginger was seen by many as de facto leader of the group thanks to her articulate conversational style and business savvy mind.
* Melanie Brown/Scary Spice (March 1994-February 2001 & June 2007-February 2008). Melanie was given the nickname Scary Spice because of her outrageous, "in-your-face" attitude, "loud" Leeds accent, throaty laugh, pierced tongue, manner of dress (which often consisted of leopard-print outfits), and her voluminously curly hair.
* Emma Bunton/Baby Spice (October 1994-February 2001 and June 2007-February 2008). Emma was called Baby Spice because she was the youngest of the group, wore her long blonde hair in pigtails, wore babydoll dresses, had an innocent smile, and had a girly girl personality.
* Victoria Beckham (then Victoria Adams)/Posh Spice (March 1994-February 2001 and June 2007-February 2008). Victoria was called Posh Spice because of her more middle-class background, refined attitude, form-fitting designer outfits and her love of high-heeled footwear.
* Melanie Chisholm/Sporty Spice (March 1994-February 2001 and June 2007-February 2008). Called Sporty because Melanie usually wore a tracksuit with her hair in a ponytail and sported a tough girl attitude.

Mayro'n akong nais malaman Maaari bang magtanong?
