"Hindi Ka Nag-Iisa": Noynoy Aquino's All Star Ad Campaign Especially With The Songbird Regine Velasquez

Continue the fight of Ninoy and Cory!

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

“HINDI KA NAG IISA”
Composed by: Ogie Alcasid
Sung by: Regine Velasquez

Sasamahan ka namin
Kahit paligid ay madilim
Iilawan ang daan tungo sa magandang kinabukasan.
Ika’y mamuno,kami ay susunod
pagkakaisa’y ating itaguyod
ang Pilipinas ay naghihintay
handa kaming kumilos,handang umalalay.

Hindi ka nag-iisa
sa paggising ng bayan
kami ay kasama,hindi ka mag-iisa.
Isasapuso ang dangal ng ating bayan
Sa tulong at biyaya ng maykapal

Magkakapit bisig,tayo…
ituloy natin laban ni Ninoy at Cory,
Nang bawa’t mamamayan
pagmamahal natin sa bayan
‘wag na nating itago, ‘di tayo susuko

Hindi ka nag-iisa
Sa paggising ng bayan
kami ay kasama,hindi ka mag-iisa
isasa puso ang dangal ng ating bayan

Sa tulong at biyaya ng maykapal
Magkakapit bisig,tayo…
Sama-sama bawat Filipino
Mula noon, ngayon at kailan pa man
hindi ka nag iisa........

Versions By Regine- Lani Hall's "I Don't Want You To Go"

The original voice of Sergio Mendes' Brasil '66, singer Lani Hall was also the wife of trumpeter and A&M Records co-founder Herb Alpert. Upon exiting Brasil '66, she made her solo debut in 1974 with the LP Sundown Lady; a series of releases including 1975's Hello It's Me, 1977's Sweetbird and 1979's Double or Nothing followed, but after appearing on the soundtrack to the 1983 James Bond film Never Say Never Again Hall largely disappeared from the recording scene, resurfacing only to make the occasional cameo appearance on her husband's recordings. However, the rise of Latin pop during the 1990s inspired Hall to return to the studio, and in 1998 she issued Brasil Nativo. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide

by Allee Willis & Bruce Roberts

Here I am
Alone and I don't understand
Exactly how it all began
The dream just walked away
I'm holding on
When all but the passion's gone

And from the start
Maybe I was tryin' too hard
It's crazy 'cause it's breakin' my heart
Things can fall apart but I know
That I don't want you to go

And here was time
When they ignore the cause inside
But they learned from what's left behind
And fight for something else
And so it goes
That we have both learned how to grow

And from the start
Maybe we were tryin' too hard
It's crazy 'cause it's breakin' our hearts
Things can fall apart, but I know
That I don't want you to go

Oh, it's just too much
Takin' on the whole world all by myself
There's not enough
Unless I start trustin' somebody else
Somebody else and love again

And from the start
Maybe we were tryin' too hard
It's crazy 'cause it's breakin' our hearts
Things can fall apart, but I know
That I don't want you to go, no

Maybe we were tryin' too hard
It's crazy 'cause it's breakin' our hearts
Things can fall apart, but I know
That I don't want you to go

Oooh no, I don't want you to go
Say that you won't go

Bubble Gang at '14 Going Steady' With The Songbird!

Bubble Gang, the country’s longest-running gag show, is celebrating its 14th year and still going steady.

“14 Going Steady” host Paolo Bediones will get to know the Bubble Barkada – Ogie Alcasid, Michael V., Wendell Ramos, Antonio Aquitania, Rufa Mae Quinto, Francine Prieto and Maureen Larrazabal – through a sit-down interview that will unleash not only their funny side, but more interestingly, their kinky side as well.

Then on October 30, three films outfitted for television, which was created by Bubble Gang’s very own creative team and pioneering cast member Michael V., will cap off this two-part anniversary special. One is a horror film, the other is a spoof of a famous Koreanovela, and the last is a scintillating sexy comedy. The films will star the Bubble Gang cast along with celebrity guests Dennis Trillo, Iza Calzado, Julia Clarete, and Ms. Regine Velasquez.

Versions By Regine- 70's Disco Dance Hits

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

IF ALL WE'RE GONNA DO IS DANCE

"If All We're Gonna Do Is Dance" is probably one of the more ironic tracks on the album. In fact much of the album is almost dripping in a kind of defiant ironic, even sarcastic tone to it. With the same exquisite arrangement, although more melodic than synthesized, it's a song about a woman who's tired of dancing while waiting for her man to make his move. After being convinced that her man is finally going to "make it right," she goes to his place only to find more of the same.. To which she says "..If all we're gonna go is dance.. I'm going home.." I guess I don't have to have to point out the irony in this one. For me, it's really all in the juxtaposition between the theme and the delivery. It's not often you hear a woman sing so elegantly and beautifully yet so forwardly about her making the moves on her man. Even beyond that, it could even be a little *nudge nudge*, *wink wink* to the listener. Gotta wonder, if her man won't make a move, won't respond to hers and can't seem to stop dancing, perhaps he may not be all that into women.. Just a thought. In a way, it's all very Vanity 6 meets Karen Carpenter, if you know what I mean..

LAST DANCE

"Last Dance" is a song written by the late Paul Jabara. It was sung by Donna Summer for the Thank God It's Friday soundtrack in 1978. She also had a mini role in the same film (see Thank God It's Friday), singing the song. "Last Dance" was mixed by the Grammy Award winning record producer Stephen Short, whose back-up vocals are featured in the song.

"Last Dance" won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for Best Original Song the same year. It is one of Summer's favorite songs and remains one of her most popular hits in the United States, peaking at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song has sold over 5 million copies in the U.S. alone.

"Last Dance" was one of the first disco songs to also feature slow tempo parts. It starts off slow and the full-length version found on the film soundtrack also has a slow part in the middle. This part was edited out for the 12" format, and yet more of the song was edited for the 7". The versions found on most greatest hits packages is either the original 7" edit ( - 3:21) or the slightly longer and remixed version from the 1979 compilation On The Radio: Greatest Hits Volumes 1 & 2 ( - 4:56).

"Last Dance" started a trend for Summer as many of her disco hits following this also had a slow tempo intro/vocal beginning. Her other hits of this tempo format include "On the Radio", "No More Tears (Enough is Enough)", a duet with Barbra Streisand, "Dim All the Lights", and another song written by and duetted with Paul Jabara, "Foggy Day/Never Lose Your Sense Of Humor" from his album, "The Third Album".

I WILL SURVIVE

"I Will Survive" is a song first performed by Gloria Gaynor, released in October 1978. It was written by Freddie Perren and Dino Fekaris.

The song's lyrics describe a narrator who finds personal strength while recovering from a breakup; it has often been used as an anthem of female empowerment,[1] and HIV/AIDS awareness - and is a firm favorite on the karaoke circuit. It is one of the most famous disco songs of all time and Gaynor's biggest hit. It received massive airplay in 1979, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100, also reaching number one in the UK the next day.

The song was originally released as the B-side to a song first recorded by The Righteous Brothers called "Substitute", a track thought to have more potential for mainstream success by her record label. It became a worldwide hit for Clout in 1978, instead. Disc jockeys began flipping the single over and eventually copies of the record were pressed with "I Will Survive" as the A-side ("Substitute" managed to peak at number 107 on Billboard's Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart).

The song was rated number nine on George Carlin's 10 Most Embarrassing Songs of All Time.

It received the Grammy Award for Best Disco Recording in 1980, the only year that the award was given. It is ranked #489 on the Rolling Stone magazine's list of "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time". The Song was also listed at #97 on Billboard's Greatest Songs of all time.In 2000 the song was ranked #1 in VH1's list of the 100 greatest dance songs.

After the success of fellow '70s stars Sister Sledge's remixed singles in the UK in 1993, this song was also released in a remixed form there in about June/July 1993. Also meriting success, this remix reached number five on the UK Singles Chart (while the original version had topped the chart in 1979), but was her only successful remix single in the UK.

Goodbye, All Star K!

All Star K! started as K! The 1 Million Peso Videoke Challenge with Arnel Ignacio as host. But when Arnel Ignacio transferred to the rival station ABS-CBN in 2004 (along with one of his program's contestants Bernadette Sembrano), the show was reformatted into a celebrity game show with Jaya and comedian Allan K as hosts.

There are already five celebrities who have won the 1-million peso jackpot at present. Regine Velasquez the Asia's Songbird won twice, aside from winning, she also became a judge several times. Mark Tupaz of Shamrock, StarStruck Kids avenger Sandy Talag won as she bravely sang the song "Through The Fire" of Chaka Khan, EB Babe Belle and the latest millionaire is Aiza Seguerra, who won on February 10, 2008. Iwa Moto and Sheena Halili have also won twice but didn't get the Jackpot.

Regine's Winning Moments

All Star K! bids farewell...Regine, left undefeated!!

Versions By Regine- Spice Girls Medley w/ Evette, Maricris, Frencheska and Gretchen

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

The Spice Girls are an English pop girl group formed in 1994. They consist of Victoria Beckham (née Adams), Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Halliwell. They are the most successful girl group of all time.

The Names

* Geri Halliwell/Ginger Spice (March 1994-May 1998 and June 2007-February 2008). Geri was called Ginger Spice because of her "liveliness, zest, and flaming red hair." She often wore outrageous stage outfits. Ginger was seen by many as de facto leader of the group thanks to her articulate conversational style and business savvy mind.

* Melanie Brown/Scary Spice (March 1994-February 2001 & June 2007-February 2008). Melanie was given the nickname Scary Spice because of her outrageous, "in-your-face" attitude, "loud" Leeds accent, throaty laugh, pierced tongue, manner of dress (which often consisted of leopard-print outfits), and her voluminously curly hair.

* Emma Bunton/Baby Spice (October 1994-February 2001 and June 2007-February 2008). Emma was called Baby Spice because she was the youngest of the group, wore her long blonde hair in pigtails, wore babydoll dresses, had an innocent smile, and had a girly girl personality.

* Victoria Beckham (then Victoria Adams)/Posh Spice (March 1994-February 2001 and June 2007-February 2008). Victoria was called Posh Spice because of her more middle-class background, refined attitude, form-fitting designer outfits and her love of high-heeled footwear.

* Melanie Chisholm/Sporty Spice (March 1994-February 2001 and June 2007-February 2008). Called Sporty because Melanie usually wore a tracksuit with her hair in a ponytail and sported a tough girl attitude.

SPICE

Spice is the debut album by British pop group Spice Girls, released on 4th November 1996 by Virgin Records. The album was recorded at Olympic Studios in Barnes, London between 1995 and 1996, by producers Matt Rowe, Richard Stannard, Eliot Kennedy and the production duo Absolute. Five singles were released from the album: "Wannabe", "Say You'll Be There", "2 Become 1", "Who Do You Think You Are" and "Mama"; "Who Do You Think You Are" and "Mama" were released as a double A-side in the United Kingdom, Ireland and other countries. The first single, "Wannabe", went to number one in 31 countries, and the next two singles, "Say You'll Be There" and "2 Become 1", reached number one in 53 countries.[1] "Who Do You Think You Are" was released as the official Comic Relief single in the UK as a double A-side with "Mama" and both songs reached the top 20 in charts across Europe, Australia and New Zealand. In the band's native UK, all four singles went to number one on the UK singles chart and, in the United States, the album produced three top five singles.

Spice was a worldwide commercial success. The album was certified 10x Platinum in UK by the British Phonographic Industry and in Canada by the Canadian Recording Industry Association,[2] 8x Platinum in Europe by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry in their 1997 European music awards[3] and 7x Platinum in the US by the Recording Industry Association of America.[4] In total, the album sold 23 million copies worldwide, becoming the biggest-selling album in music history by a girl group.

Versions By Regine- "Nandito Ako" 20th Anniversary with Mr. Ogie Alcasid

Happy 20 Years

Nandito Ako

Mayro'n akong nais malaman
Maaari bang magtanong?
Alam mo bang matagal na kitang iniibig?
Matagal na akong naghihintay
Ngunit mayro'n kang ibang minamahal
Kung kaya't ako'y di o pinapansin
Ngunit ganon pa man nais kong malaman mo
Ang puso kong ito'y para lang sa 'yo

Nandito ako umiibig sa iyo
Kahit na nagdurugo ang puso
Kung sakaling iwanan ka niya
Huwag kang mag-alala
May nagmamahal sa iyo,
Nandito ako

Kung ako ay iyong iibigin
Di kailangan ang mangamba
Pagkat ako ay para mong alipin
Sa iyo lang wala ng iba
Ngunit mayro'n ka ng ibang minamahal
Kung kaya't ako'y di o pinapansin
Ngunit ganon pa man nais kong malaman mo
Ang puso kong ito'y para lang sa 'yo

Nandito ako umiibig sa iyo
Kahit na nagdurugo ang puso
Kung sakaling iwanan ka niya
Huwag kang mag-alala
May nagmamahal sa iyo,
Nandito ako

Nandito ako umiibig sa iyo
Kahit na nagdurugo ang puso
Kung sakaling iwanan ka niya
Huwag kang mag-alala
May nagmamahal sa iyo,
Nandito ako
Nandito ako..
